Manila Center Chancel Choir holds cantata for 2011 last November 12, 2011. Bannered by their theme, ”The Church Triumphant”, they rendered a compilation of contemporary gospels songs during the Divine Worship Service as well as on the eve of vesper. The songs depict the relationship of Jesus Christ with the Church and its mission leading to their ultimate victory with Him in the end.
During the middle part of the cantata; Pastor Sarmiento, gave a warming message as to whom God’s people really pin their hopes to, and from where the real answer to life’s problems comes from. The cantata also turned out to be the last rendition of its long time pianist, Sister Monette Tuplano-Andrade, before moving to Singapore
