The holding of the 1st cantata by the Manila Center Adventist Elementary School (MCAES) was a huge success, this is judging from the attendance last Sunday, December 11, 2011 which almost filled to the full the main worship hall of Manila Center. Simply entitled “Christmas Cantata”, the rendition from the students chosen from various levels includes both contemporary and classic Christmas songs.
According to Sister Raquel Fajardo, current principal of MCAES; the holding of cantata would feature the singing talent of the MCAES students. The cantata is a paid concert which is intended to raise funds for the school projects. The cantata started at around 3 P.M. with brother Clemendo Malayo as conductor.
